Salesforce data cleaning


Insycle supports Salesforce sandbox instances. This can be a great way to test Insycle out if you do not want to connect your live database to Insycle, or if you are an enterprise company and have too many records to be eligible for the free trial.

Connecting Salesforce sandbox instances to Insycle is simple and straightforward.

Summary

  1. Go to the Insycle Login page and click the Salesforce logo
  2. When prompted to log in to Salesforce, click the "Use Custom Domain" link
  3. In the Custom Domain field enter: test.salesforce.com and click Continue
  4. Append dot then your sandbox name to your regular username.
    For example, for our sandbox named sb1, we'd use chen@insycle.com.sb1

  5. Click to allow Insycle access to the sandbox username
  6. That's it! You'll get re-directed to the Insycle app and logged in automatically

Step-By-Step Instructions to Connect Salesforce Sandbox Instances

Troubleshooting

If you're not sure what your sandbox name is, in Salesforce go to Setup, Quick Find, and type sandbox to list all available sandboxes.

Unsure how to construct the sandbox username? Click Login in the Sandboxes screen and Salesforce will automatically construct it for you. Then, copy that username back to the Insycle login screen.
