Troubleshoot HubSpot Install and Log In Permissions


For security reasons, Insycle uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate users. There is no Insycle-specific username and password.

In order to log in to Insycle, a person first needs to have a HubSpot user. In case, a user is deactivated in HubSpot, that user cannot log in to Insycle.

How to Install and Log In to Insycle for HubSpot

On the Login page, click the "Login with HubSpot" button which will redirect the browser to a HubSpot page and prompt you to select the relevant account.

If you have the relevant permissions, after clicking the "Choose Account" button you'll be redirected automatically to the Insycle app.

Please Note

If you didn't have an existing browser window already opened with the HubSpot app itself, after choosing an account you'll be redirected back to the HubSpot app and not to the Insycle app. In that case, click again on the Insycle Login page, and then after choosing the relevant account the second time, it will redirect you to the Insycle app.

Troubleshooting Permission Error

In case a user doesn't have sufficient permissions, this error may show.

In HubSpot user settings, check that at minimum, the following permissions are assigned to the user:

  • CRM: Object Access with View and Edit at minimum owned records.
  • Marketing: Lists
